Willie Mae Mitchell

Willie Mae Mitchell was born on August 11, 1946, to the late Georgia Mae (Smith) Mitchell and Willie Mitchell.

She confessed Christ at an early age. She joined and was baptized at Union Baptist Church, where she served as a faithful member of the Usher Board until failing health issues.

She was preceded in death by: her mother, Georgia Mae (Smith) Mitchell; father, Willie Mitchell; her sisters, Addie Will Jones and Ollie Mae Mitchell; brother, James Mitchell; her daughter, Angela Marie Mitchell; two great-grands; and the love of her life, Raymond Dennis.

She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Anita (Rickie) Christian of Clanton, Alabama; her grandchildren, Jakeria, Sharanda, Jalarius (Charrish), Shinerria, Kambreona, Keondra, and Daziyah; nieces, Charlotte Powell, Toni Baker, and Yvette Jones; special cousins, Carrie Mae Howard, Shelia Hall, and Cassandra Devinner; special friend, Ms. Wendy Fulmer; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
