Willie J McGee

Mr. Willie James McGee was born on September 14, 1947, to Mr. James and Lula Mae McGee in Autuga County, Alabama.

He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Hopewell Baptist Church, Clanton, Alabama and later joined St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He also served as a mason in Jemison.

He departed his life on December 7, 2023, at Shelby Ridge Nursing Home.

Preceding him in death were his mother, Lula Mae McGee; father, James McGee; and brother, Charles McGee.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Rosa McGee; seven children, Marcus (Patricia) McGee of Clanton, AL, Willie McGee, Jr. (Yolanda) of Jemison, AL, Vernetta (James) Wright of Jemison, AL, Jermaine (Crystal) McGee of Jemison, AL, Aritha (Justin) Little of Birmingham, AL, Jennifer (Teddy) McCary of Jemison, AL, and Jeffery McGee; 25 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and two close friends, Jackie Atchison and Prince.
