Sharon D (Talley) Swindle

Sharon D. Swindle was born on March 12, 1962, to the late Jessie James and Bertha Lee Talley.

Sharon departed this life on March 16, 2023, at the age of 61.

Sharon Swindle gave her life to JESUS at the age of 16.

She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She could light up a room with her big, beautiful smile. She was a 1980 graduate of Chilton County High School. She was an amazing first lady to her husband, Pastor Lowell Swindle, and to the congregation at the World’s Church of the Living God. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids, going on long country rides, cooking, and feeding her loved ones.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie James and Bertha Lee Talley; her brothers, James Calvin Talley, Grady Talley, and Eddie Talley; and sister, Tammy Talley.

Sharon is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 42 years, Pastor Lowell Swindle; daughters, Rachel and Gabrielle Swindle; son, Lowell Swindle, Jr.; siblings, Mary Shelton, Isabella Flowers, Juan Jetta (Bobby) Kine, Timothy Talley, and Goffery (Charetta) Lane; six amazing grandkids, Kalayshia, Rick, Michael, Adrian, Ariel, and Kezia; brothers-in-law, Glenn, Lemuel (Elvira), George (Brenda), Jerome (Elizabeth), and Dwight (Madaline) Swindle; sister-in-law, Lora Wright; and a host of aunts, very close and devoted friends, and other family.
