Peggie L. Morgan was born February 26, 1938. She departed this life peacefully with her family by her side on October 7, 2022, Summa Hospice Center after a brief illness.
Born in Wetumpka, Alabama to the late Marion and Velma (Leonard) Robinson, she lived in Alabama much of her life while also spending some years in both Cleveland and Tallmadge Ohio.
Peggie retired from Fairhaven Retirement Center. She enjoyed cooking and crossword puzzles, listening to music, Bible study and spending time with her family and friends’ and prayer Warriors.
Peggie confessed Christ at an early age, she was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Missionary Church, later joining Tabernacle Baptist Church in Birmingham Alabama, Peggie and Willie M. Cook was joined together in holy matrimony to this union two children were born.
She was preceded in death by her Parents and Brothers; Eddie, Joe Louis, Raymond, Thomas, and Bill Robinson.
She leaves to cherish her memories two loving sons; Will (Sharon) Cook, Melvin Douglass Cook; Five grandchildren; Bryon, Acacia (Ryan) Marissa, Ashley, and Jackia; Four Brothers; John Henry (Fannie), Tony (Robin), Joseph (Lee), Paul, and Peter Robinson; One Sister Josephine McDaniel.
Per her wishes cremation has taken place.
Peggie will be laid to rest in Mary Williams Cemetery Verbena, Alabama.
