Monette Sharee (Kendrick) Cowley

NETTE was born to the late Melvin Singletary and Carolyn Kendrick, after which she was raised by the late L.C. and Claudia Hudson. Her journey ended on October 13, 2025 at Arabella Health and Rehab Center in Selma, Alabama.

Nette attended Chilton County High School.

She was preceded in death by: Brother: James Carl Hudson Two Sisters: Teresa Mitchell and Leola Hudson

Those who knew loved her.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Two Sons: Antonio (Shae) Gates of Gadsden, Alabama, Tremaine Gates of Clanton, Alabama. A Loving Mother: Carolyn Kendrick of Clanton, Alabama. Brother: Jimmy Kendrick-Clanton, Alabama. Sisters: Sonya Austin, Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Annie Roberts, Clanton, Alabama. Four Grandchildren; Two Special Friends: Angie Gates and Kim Davis; A host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
