Marzell (Shelton) Goodwin

Marzell Shelton Goodwin (affectionately known as "Bob") was born August 3, 1929 in Ridersville, AL. to the late Benjamin and Earlean Shelton. On November 2, 1948 she married the love of her life Elijah Goodwin. They were married for 54 years before he preceded her in death on July 1, 2002.

She leaves to cherish her memories: One Son: Michael Hillary (Debra) Goodwin of Plantersville, AL; Five Daughters: Florence G. (Albert) Yates of Montgomery, AL.; Deborah G. Hall of Plantersville, AL.; Charlotte J. Goodwin of Northport, AL; Margie Faye (Arthur) Nelson of Montgomery, AL; and Tarasha D. (Kevin) Williams of Abbeville, LA.; Two Brothers: Charles (Francis) Shelton of Cleveland, OH; and Benjamin (Matilda) Shelton Jr. of Detroit, MI; Two Sisters-in-law: Annie Jean Goodwin of Plantersville, AL. and Louise Ferrell of Detroit, MI.; Ten Grandchildren; Twenty Two Great-Grandchildren; Two Great-Great-Grandchildren; A number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
