Marsha Diane (Sissy) Harris

MARSHA DIANE HARRIS, “SISSY,” was born on July 24, 1964, to Lucille Harris Mary Godwin and Charles Bolding in Clanton, Alabama.

Marsha confessed Christ at an early age at Union Baptist Church. Later in life, she joined Morning Star Baptist Church under the watch and care of Pastor R. C. Nix, Jr.

Marsha departed this life on April 18, 2025, at Douglasville Rehab and Nursing Home in Douglasville, Georgia.

Marsha was preceded in death by three angels, Angel, De’Angelo, and Jonthan; three sisters, Layvonne, Carolyn, and Cheryl Harris; and two brothers, Jerome Harris and Douglas Bolding.

Marsha leaves to cherish in her loving memories: her three sisters, Catherine Harris (Doug), Regina Harris, and Lisa Underwood; one brother, Darryla Bolding (Gloria); two aunts, Louise Dejarnette of Clanton, Alabama, and Anita Godwin of Jones, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, including special niece, Esha, who was a daughter to Marsha.
