Marie Suling Chang-Glover was born 06/13/1963 on the beautiful island of St. Maarten, proudly crowned as Teen Princess St. Maarten in 1977. She moved to the United States with her mother in 1979 and settled in SC. Suling, as she was affectionately called by everyone, excelled in her 40-yr career in collections. She was by far the best in the business and was proud of her accomplishment.
Suling is predeceased by her daughter Nicole (1994) and her grandmother Sadie Williams of St. Maarten. Suling is survived by her children, devoted daughter and best friend Liliana and loving son Julian, whom she cherished; her three adorable grandchildren (Harry, Julia Grace, Laila); her Mother Rita Williams of PA; her sisters Charlene & Jenique & brother Thaddeaus along with several nieces, nephews, aunts & uncles and cousins on her maternal side.
Suling loved to visit her homeland “St Maarten” enjoying the beach, Caribbean foods & drinks, and family gatherings. Her favorite past time included spending time with her three grandchildren but also shopping and fishing. Her lively spirit, and her fantastic sense of humor that will be missed by her family and friends.
Celebration of life tributes will be held for Suling in the future where her family and friends from all over can attend.
