SISTER MARIE AGEE BROWN was born to the late Zadark Agee and Lavonia Allison Agee on September 5, 1935, in Maplesville, Chilton County, Alabama.
She departed this life on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at her residence in Maplesville, Alabama. She was blessed with a long life of 89 years. She was surrounded by family and friends.
She confessed Christ at an early age and joined New Convert Missionary Baptist Church where she remained until her health began to fail. Her heart was always at New Convert Baptist Church, even until death.
She was united in holy matrimony to the late Will Brown, Jr., and to this union, two sons were born, Carlton Brown and Ricky Brown, whom she loved dearly. She was a mother and a housewife.
Brother Will, Jr., preceded her in death along with her parents; six brothers and four sisters; and one daughter- in-law, Kimberly Brown.
Sister Brown loved her family dearly and was a great cook, but most of all, she was a child of God and she loved the Lord.
She is survived by her two sons, Carlton (Patricia) Brown and Ricky (Jeannie) Brown, both of Maplesville, Alabama; two grandsons, Kevin S. Brown and Carlos M. Brown, both of Huntsville, Alabama; one special nephew / son Paul Earl Agee of Birmingham, AL; one great granddaughter, London Brown; one sister-in-law, Gwen Agee of Clanton, Alabama; three special nieces, Annie Agee of Clanton, Alabama, and Clara Dean Blackmon and Jeanette Latham, both of Maplesville, Alabama; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
