LORENZO ANTONIO DAVIS, JR., was born on March 9, 2008, in Birmingham, Alabama, to his proud parents, Lorenzo Davis and Alyse Gardner.
Affectionately known as “Junior” or “JR,” he was a bright light destined for greatness. JR attended Smith Middle School and Huffman High School, where he was known for his lively spirit and contagious energy. He enjoyed sports, playing little league football with the Northside Rams, softball with the North Birmingham Panthers, and being an active member of the Strap Organization.
JR had a love for WWE wrestling and could often be found trying out wrestling moves on anyone willing—or unsuspecting—enough to let him. His quick wit and comedic timing could bring a smile to anyone’s face. That joyful, playful nature is what drew people to him and made him so unforgettable.
JR was deeply loved—by family, by friends, and by everyone blessed to cross his path.
On Thursday, July 31, 2025, JR was called home to be with the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Ruby Lee Davis; and his great-great-aunt, Betty Jean Harris.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Alyse “Shae” Gardner; devoted father, Lorenzo “Renzo” Davis; siblings, D’Niya, LaZarius, Lamarius, Wyteria, Braylen, Caliah, and bonus brother, Marquis; grandmothers, Sylvia Gardner and Karen (Henry) Zeigler; grandfathers, Gerald Green (Laura) and Antonio Zeigler; aunts and uncles, Auntie Angel, Auntie Missy, Rashad, Uncle Tony, Gerrell, Jada, and Uncle J. R.
JR also leaves behind his best friends, Tay, Joc, Lil Jeno, Kobe, Ke, Frankese, DeJ, Jaylen, P-Nut, and Drapper, along with a host of cousins, extended family, and countless friends, all of whom will miss him dearly and carry his memory in their hearts forever.
