Kimberly Reushard Gaddis was born to Mary Gaddis and Neal McCrary, both of Montevallo, Alabama, on September 6, 1971.
She joined Ward Chapel AME Church in Montevallo, as a child. Later in 2005, she was baptized in the name of Jesus and received the gift of the Holy Ghost under the ministry of her brother, Pastor Rance Gaddis.
Kim was educated in the Montevallo, Alabama, school system. She graduated from Montevallo High in the class of 1989. Kim spent most of her adult life as a resident of the Birmingham, Alabama,
Known for her infectious personality and hilarious humor, Kim was definitely a people person.
Kim was preceded in death by her mother: Mary Gaddis, big sister: Martha Renae Gaddis, and baby brother: Rodrick Gaddis.
She leaves to cherish her memories: three children: sons, Alex Marshall Gaddis and Ladarius Cortez Gaddis, and one daughter, Latrice Renae Gaddis; dad, Cornelius N. McCray; stepmom, Geraldine O. McCray; one granddaughter, Aniya Gaddis; four brothers, Rance (Wilma) Gaddis, Ricardo Gaddis, and Cornelius O. (Tonia) McCray; two sisters, Patricia L. McCray and Terrilyn S. McCray; three very special friends, Tammy Mckenzie, Judy Paschel, and Erica Chapel; and a host of other family, as well as friends and classmates.
