Junithan Carl McCall was born to Rosia Braswell-McCall and the late Joseph C. McCall on January 24, 1972, in Cleveland, Ohio.
Junithan accepted Jesus Christ as the head of his life at an early age and attended South Park S.D.A. Church long into his adulthood. He completed his secondary education at Jemison High School and his post-secondary education in Denver, Colorado.
He then met and married the love of his life, LaToya, and together they bore and reared in the admonition of God, four accomplished and successful children, Joi (granddaughter Journi), Jeremiah, JuMicheal, and Junithan II. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose intent was to bring his family to Christ.
He was an entrepreneur and business owner of Ultimate Perfection LLC, providing service to the community in HVAC. This gave him the opportunity to witness and minister to those he encountered daily. He always greeted you with a smile and a kind word of encouragement, he was genuine and authentic. He stood on integrity and loyalty, a man of his word and jack of all trades. He relied on God for guidance and total dependence.
He was passionate about his love for God; it was reflective in everything and everyone he touched. He was a man after God’s own heart. On January 4th, 2024, his purpose was fulfilled on earth. Well done thou good and faithful servant.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a devout wife, LaToya S. McCall of Jemison, AL; one daughter, Joi J. McCall (granddaughter Journi) of Atlanta, GA; three sons, Jeremiah C. McCall, JuMicheal C. McCall, and Junithan C. McCall II, all of Jemison, AL; mother, Rosia McCall of Jemison, AL; three brothers, Dr. Joseph C. McCall (Angela) of Michigan, Joel C. McCall (Angie) of Gadsden, AL, and Jeffery C. McCall of Montgomery, AL; four sisters, Theresa Young McCall, Wintrey Pride (Ronnie), Renisha McCall; one sister that preceded him in death, Sherry McCall; a loving and caring father and mother-in-love, Carl and Mary Akers of Birmingham, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
