Brother Johnnie Lee Tagger was born to the late Fannie Tagger on May 4, 1939, in Bibb County, Alabama.
He joined Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at an early age. In later years, he joined New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Randolph, Alabama under the pastorate of Reverend W.H. Lee.
He enjoyed singing, gardening, and helping anyone he could.
He departed this life on February 21, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. He leaves to cherish his memories: his niece, Diana Hayes (David) of Maplesville, Alabama; two nephews, Tommie (Serena) Driver of Brent, Alabama and Kevin (April) Holman of Calera, Alabama; a special cousin, Mary Bell George of Indianapolis, Indiana; and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
