John Lewis Spence

Brother John Lewis Spence was born, October 10, 1945 to the late John Seawood Spence and the late Cornelia Pearl Barbour Spence. At an early age he joined the St. Paul Lutheran Church.

He worked in construction and was a farm laborer over the years.

John was never married and had no children. He took pride in loving his host of nieces and nephews.

He departed this life on June 20, 2022 at 11:45 pm at Bear Creek Health Care Facility in Alabaster, Alabama.

Proceeding him in death are his two sisters, Lil lie Belle Tinsley and Ethel Spence; three brothers, Houston Darby, Albert Spence and Robert Spence; and a loving aunt, Ruby Pearl Allison.

Cherishing his precious memories are his brother, Joseph (Ann) Spence; his uncle, Charles (Marthenia) Barbour; a host of nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends; and a very dedicated and loving niece, Rhonda Spence.
