James Monrell Spigner entered into heavenly peace on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at the Compassus Hospice Suites in Birmingham, Alabama.
He was born on December 9, 1979, to Elizabeth Spigner and the late Mr. Michael J. Spigner. He was raised in Chilton County. James Spigner joined Hopewell Baptist Church where he served until entering his eternal life.
James was preceded in death by his two brothers, Michael P. Spigner, Sr. and Jarrett L. Brooks; father, Michael J. Spigner; grandparents, Mr. Luther Lee, Sr., and Mrs. Addie Bell Caffee.
James leaves to cherish his loving memories: four sons, Darien (Brittany) of Talladega, AL, Leland Johnson of Los Angeles, CA, Kyshius Spigner, and Joshua Spigner of Clanton, AL; loving mother, Elizabeth Ann Spigner; devoted grandmother, Lois Lee; two brothers, Curtis (Celeste) and Devonta Spigner; one sister-in-law, DeFacto Spigner; uncle, Luther, Jr. (Barbara), Jeffery (Net); aunts, Virginia (Johnny) of Connecticut, OH, Leatha (Norman) of Marbury, AL, Trudy Lee, and Tangelia (Andrew) Tamecha; godmother, Ms. Virginia Brooks of Birmingham, AL, Ms. Teresa Strong, lifelong caregiver, and Ms. Taneishia Underwood, a family caregiver; a lifetime best friend, Mr. Freddick and Gwen Stevenson; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friends; and a devoted friend/cousin, Mr. Jeffery Wayne Lee.
