James Earl Roller was born December 11, 1946, to the late Beatrice Roller and Grover Campbell in Clanton, Alabama.
He was educated in the Chilton County school system. He accepted Christ at an early age. James Earl was a chef and worked in various restaurants throughout his career.
James Earl moved to Bessemer, Alabama, with his aunt, Clara Roller, and the Roller family.
He was a member of New Bethlehem Baptist Church in Bessemer, Alabama, where he was baptized under Reverend William H. Walker, and served faithfully.
Early Friday morning on August 5, 2022, James Earl heard the voice of Jesus call him home after a short illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, John Wayne Stone, Ricky Campbell, and Michael Campbell.
He leaves precious memories to: his sister, Bernadette (David) Conwell; three brothers, Grover (Bertha) Bryant, Ronnie Campbell, and Antonio Campbell; two aunts, Gracie Brown and Naomi Craighead; a loving niece, Jackie Collins; devoted cousins, Roberta Roller and Debra Evans; a special friend, Yvonne Ector; and a host of nieces and nephews.
