James Douglas Moore

James Douglas Moore, 53 of Montevallo, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2022.

He was a 1986 graduate of Jemison High School. He was a big truck driver for over 20 years with his brother from another mother Rooster. He currently drove for the last 5 years at United Rentals in Calera.

He was a die-hard Alabama fan who enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, & especially his fur-son Justin. He found his place at Lomax Assembly of God, where he enjoyed worshiping & gave his life to the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his dad Cecil Guthrie Moore, Jr. 

He is survived by his mother Ann Moore, sister Kristy (Jeremy) Bradberry, niece Hannah (Brice) Noack, niece Morgan (Bo) McGhar, great nephew James Kade McGhar, stepmom Mary Moore, stepsister Cynthia Blake, and a host of relatives & friends.
