Harry James Craig was born January 19,1948 to the late Jacob Delbert Craig, Sr., and the late Hilda Morrow Craig. He met Delores and out of this relationship he had a Daughter, Maurita “Monique” Harper.
He served his country in the U.S. Army as a cook. He worked 30+ years in the manufacturing industry, working at Ford Motor Company, American Axle, and General Motors. He retired from General Motors in 2008. He moved back to Clanton where his Daughter cared for him until his passing.
In this life Harry enjoyed every role he played in our lives as Father, Brother, Uncle, Son, and Friend. He was the one everyone counted of in their time of need, and you rarely heard a no. He lived life unapologetically and under his own terms. He did it his way!
He was preceded in death by his Parents; Grandson, Derrick Tyrell Smith; and Brother, David Craig.
He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved Daughter, Monique; Bonus Daughter, Tiffany Battle; Bonus Son, Adrian Keys; three Sisters, Geraldine (John) McMiddleton, Jacquline (the late Eugene) Foster, and Louise Wilson; two Brothers, Jacob D. (Carla) Craig, Jr., and Charles D. (the late Mary) Craig; and a host of other Relatives and Friends.
