Mr. Eddie Lee Pryar, age 77, a native of Maplesville, Alabama, devoted husband of 38 years to Mrs. Diana Pryor, was born on February 28, 1949, to the late Virgia Mae Gordon. He departed this life for his eternal home on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

Mr. Pryar was a faithful member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, where he served as the second Deacons Ministry Assistant Chairman.
Mr. Pryar honorably served his country in the United States Army. This shows as a reflection of the strength, discipline, and commitment that defined his life. Mr. Pryar was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather; a strong provider, intelligent, and deeply respected by all who knew him. His quiet strength, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to his family created a legacy that will live on for generations. He was the kind of man whose presence brought comfort, whose words carried meaning, and whose love never wavered. In his quiet moments, he found joy and peace in music, especially in songs like “Thank You Lord” and “Let It Rain,” which reflected his faith and grateful spirit.
Mr. Pryar leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving wife, Mrs. Diana Pryor; four children, Anthony (Jessica) Wilson, Marilyn Nix, Kim (Jeremy) Carter, and Melissa Pryor; his beloved grandchildren: Jaden, Jeremy Jr., LèLia, Mia, Morgan, and R.J..
