DAVONTE TRASHOD WILSON was born to Celeste Powell Strong and Claude Edward Wilson on October 15, 1994, in Selma. Alabama.
He departed this life on Thursday, May 7, 2026.
He was a loving father to his son, Tristan, and a cherished son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many who loved him dearly. Throughout his life, DaVonte worked hard and remained devoted to achieving his goals. He earned his high school diploma and later received certification from Birmingham School of Massage. Known for his strong work ethic and determination, he often worked multiple jobs while continuing to pursue his dreams and provide for those he loved.
From an early age and throughout his life, DaVonte had a deep love for anime and Japanese culture. Because of this passion, he became devoted to learning the Japanese language, always eager to expand his knowledge and embrace new experiences.
DaVonte was also an entrepreneur with a creative spirit. He proudly launched his own clothing line, Black Lasso, reflecting his ambition, vision, and passion for success. His love for Jehovah and Jesus Christ was evident in the way he treated others. DaVonte had a spirit that could brighten anyone’s day, bringing comfort, joy, and positivity to everyone around him. He will be remembered for his love for family, his contagious laugh, and the love he showed to everyone around him.
DaVonte was the kind of person who could light up a room with his smile and would help others before worrying about himself. His kindness, dedication, and the lasting impact he made on everyone blessed to know him will never be forgotten.
