Veteran Curtis “Dennis” Eddins was born on October 19, 1956, in Bessemer, Alabama, to the late Gurney and Shirley Eddins. He proudly served over 20 years with the US Army. He never met a stranger and was a jack of all trades. He had a passion for music and was a member of the Wondering Clouds. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.
He transitioned from his earthly life on Sunday, September 5, 2021.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Gurney Eddins; his mother, Shirley Carter; and brother, Gary Eddins.
He leaves to cherish: his wife, Denise Frazier Eddins of Thorsby, AL; his sons, Quentin Eddins of Jemison, AL, Otis (Stephanie) Eddins of Alabaster, AL, Marcus Braswell of Calera, AL, and Derrick Eddins of Calera, AL; a daughter, Aleshia (Shannon) Oliver of Clanton, AL; his baby girl, Ashley Eddins of Tuscaloosa, AL; sisters, Cheryl Lewis (Brown) of Prattville, AL, Valorie Eddins of Georgia, and Viola (Andre) Hardy of Georgia; brothers-in-law, Dennis (Angie) Frazier of Jemison, AL, and Kenneth Frazier of Jemison, AL; sister-in-law, Gloria Peoples
of Jemison, AL; grandkids, Jayland, Chloe, Yasmine, Bree, Mia, Marquese, Kyanna, Jerrell, Jaden, Jaicee, and Nevaeh; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends; and special grandkids, Pee-Wee and Lil Bit.
