Charlie Jonathan Williams, Jr., was born on April 27, 1954, in Verbena, Alabama, to the late Charlie Williams, Sr., and Emogene Williams Oden. He attended Verbena Elementary, Chilton County Training School for a short period, and Verbena High School.
At an early age, he joined Shady Grove Baptist Church and was in the Air Force for a short time.
Charlie, affectionately known as Peter, was preceded in death by his grandparents, Crate and Emma Polk; father, Charlie Williams, Sr.; mother, Emogene Williams Oden; and son, Roman Gabriel Williams.
Charlie transitioned from his earthly body to be present with the Lord on May 23, 2025.
He leaves

Michael (Marilyn) Oden of Columbus, OH, Ralph
Hall of Clanton, AL, and Kemble (Betty) Hall
of Clanton, AL; sister-in-law, Antonia (Kevin)
Staffney of Clanton, AL; two grandsons, Stephon
Abercrombie and Andrew Mackey of Cumming,
GA; great-grandson, Roman G. Abercrombie; and
a host of nieces, nephews, family members, and
friends.
