Obituary

Carolyn King Myrick was born on August 16, 1947, to the late Jessie B. King and Jennie Mae B. King in Birmingham, Alabama. She accepted Christ at an early age.

She was united in holy matrimony to the late Wilbert Myrick, Sr., on September 25. They were blessed with three children.

Carolyn was a devoted member of the Hopewell Baptist church, were she served in many ministries at the church. Carolyn enjoyed cooking, dancing, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by sister, Betty Gene Latimore; husband, Wilbert Myrick Sr.; and son, Barry Myrick.

She leaves to cherish her memories: son, Wilbert Myrick, Jr., and daughter, Vagana Angela Myrick Mayweather; goddaughter, Cynthia Tyus; siblings, Pactricia Mikel, Jessie King, Catherine, Lucille, Edward, and Kenny; eight grandkids; twelve great-grandkids; devoted daughter-in-law, Regina Myrick; and host of nieces and nephews.
