Carlos Edward “Carlito” Turner, Sr., was born to the late Annie Turner Kennebrew of Clanton, Alabama, and Wille Latham, Jr., of Jemison, Alabama.
Carlos was married to the late Thoris Turner, and this union produced their two children, which were their pride and joy.
Carlos was baptized at an early age at New Bethel Baptist Church of Lomax, Alabama.
Carlos attended and graduated from Chilton County High School, and shortly afterwards he entered into the U.S. Marine Corp.
Carlos enjoyed diesel mechanic work, where he was inspired to become a professional truck driver.
Carlos was preceded in death by his brother, Edmond Cunningham, Jr., and his sister, Valerie Morris.
Carlos leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Jontè Seymour (Michael), and son, Carlos Turner, Jr., of Clanton, AL; three grandchildren, Ka’tia , Zariah, and J’Michael; two step-grandchildren, Markel and Ma’Kayia; siblings, Patricia Foshee and Kenneth Turner; stepfather, Edmond Cunningham, Sr.; loving uncle, Monroe Smith (Donna); special friend, Mablean Talley; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
