Beulah Lee Ray Dixon, a Proverbs 31 woman and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, departed this life on March 26, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on May 5, 1949, to the late George and Jessie Mae Ray.
Having obeyed the gospel, she lived a life of faithfulness until her health began to fail. Though unable to attend worship in her later days, she stayed devoted through daily Bible reading and by watching In Search of the Lord’s Way.
She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly and found great joy in every moment spent with them.
Whether tending to her family or tending to her garden, she poured love into all she did. She cherished traveling with her family and continued traveling and gardening until her health declined.
She was preceded in death by her siblings Howard Ray, John Ray, Nathan Ray, James Ray, Donald Ray, Ida Bell Ray, and Jettie Ray, and her great-granddaughter, Adara Borom.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband of 57 years, William Dixon Sr.; her children, Victoria (the late Ron Jr.) Lee, Shaneca Dixon, and William Jr. (Monisha) Dixon; grandchildren, Wendell Jr. (Tori) Borom, Isaiah Borom, Dr. Akeem (Dr. Marielle) Borom, William Dixon III, Madison Dixon, and Malia Dixon; great-grandchildren, Darius Borom and Britton Borom; grand-dog Bandit Dixon; her siblings, Yvonnie Ray, Betty Brown, Annie (the late Leslie) Wyche, and Julius (Attie) Ray; in-laws and a host of nieces and nephews.
Her love, strength, and faithful example will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know her.
