Arthur (Free) Simon Jr

Arthur Simon, Jr., was born on February 14, 1964, to the late McArthur and Nell Simon in Clanton, Alabama. He confessed to Christ at an early age. He transitioned from this world on March 11, 2024, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his parents, McArthur and Nell Simon, one brother, Carl Ellis Simon, and one granddaughter, Kandice Alice Walker.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Sonya Simon; five sons, Eric Simon, Tevin (Kayla) Simon, Cordell Simon, and Isaiah Frank, all of Huntsville, AL, and Jerrell Walker of Clanton, AL; brothers, Roger (Angie) Simon of Jemison, AL, Douglas Simon, Lee Patrick Sails, and Tommy Lee Dennis, Jr., all of Clanton, AL; two sisters, Anita Simon of Jemison, AL, and Carline (Edward) Benson of Clanton, AL; grandchildren, Tori, Taylor, Ariana, and Layla Simon, Alex Jace Walker, Iaziah Nathaniel Walker, and future grandson, Tahj Simon; two special friends, Edward Bourne of Huntsville, AL and Reginald Cottrell of Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
