Andrew Price

Mr. Andrew Price was born on December 25, 1943 in Verbena, AL to the late Raleigh and Mable Price. He passed away unexpectedly on February 16, 2022 at Prattville Baptist Hospital. 

Andrew was the youngest of ten children. Eight of them preceded him in death Arthur Price, Ellen Baisden, Tommie Montez, Artelia Williams, Katie Butler, Mabel Grant, Lucile Moss, and Eunice Howard. He had one son who preceded him in death Malone Gill. 

Andrew accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member at Lilly Hill Baptist Church. He attended North Highland High School and graduated in 1962. He also served in the United States Airforce. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, & paw-paw. He loved life and he loved his family and friends dearly. 

Andrew leaves to cherish his memories a devoted and loving wife Bertha M. Price (Verbena, AL), three children Loretta Culver (Queens, NY), Constance Johnson (Millbrook AL), Anthony (Heather) Gill (Prattville AL). He had 7 grandchildren Jamal (Tamika), Jesse, Jakierra, Drake, Isiah, Jashawn, Addison and 9 great-grandchildren Kaymel, Aiyanna, Aubrey, Brcyson, Keon, Nolan, Zayden, Niyla, and London. One brother Johnnie Price, three brothers-in-law; James Posey, Morris Gibbons, Lorenzo Gibbons and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
