Ades Semaj Beard was born on March 13, 1958, to the union of Jessie Marie White and Ades James Beard both of whom preceded him in death. He grew up in Detroit, MI, and went to Northwestern High School.
He was a self-taught amazing guitar player; he also had a passion for restoring old school cars. Ades was the life of the party and a true jokester. He enjoyed every opportunity to enjoy life and his family. He helped his sister raise his four nieces and nephews known as the “CHAN CLAN.” In 1982, he met the love of his life, his loving wife Jessie Beard.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Jessie Beard; second mom, Callie Peasant of Michigan; children, Jamel, Micheal, Pharoah, Mekeba, and Tammy of Alabama; nephews, William (Danita) of Texas and Christopher (Tomisha) of Texas; nieces, Robbin (Ricky) of Georgia, April (Sean) of Michigan; grandchildren, Cory, Antonio, Marley, Curtis, Dashawn, Tyler, Malik, Mareyeon, Kristopher (Stephanie), Sharmell, Tamia, Shakayla, Chiquita, Lesinique, Mattie, Azaria, Kylee, and Charles Mackey (Theresa), brother from another mother; and a host of friends and other family and loved ones.
